DRAWINGS
Pencil, Ink & all materials capable of a mark
My first attempt at making art was with a pencil or was it a Crayola crayon, either way, it was with that making markings on paper and chalk on the ground as a kid that I started to slowly develop an interest in those artistic creations, which is what I would like to say. In reality, I did like many kids draw and make little doodles and chalk drawings outside, but I did not truly delve into that the arts until much later in life near the end of high-school and even afterward took a hiatus from traditional artistic practice until 3 years later from studying in media arts in College. Although it may feel as if I have spent a short amount of time on my craft of drawing I feel as if I have had a chance to just pick it up at my own pace instead and realize only recently there's no race to be the best unless I plan to be comfortable with what I wish to make and that is what I am still gradually developing to this day. Hopefully, I'll achieve the skills I have desired in drawing sometime in the future, for now here are the works I have made throughout the years, please enjoy.
The under drawing to my first "large scale" painting, at this time I didn't really know what I was planning to do in the future and was a very indecisive teen still looking into other career paths. This was drawn in 2015 and was during the time I stopped making art for the next 3 years.
The top drawing on the right was done in 2013 as well for the bottom drawing on the right, they were just attempts and I was lucky to have had the internet to finding these references.
Charcoal Drawing
A scene from the tv show Mr. Robot, this was one of the few drawings I had done in the gap of my 3 years wondering about art. Luckily this was part of an elective course and I had some points given on how much I needed to study.

Tales of Dementia
My second to last drawing final for University, we had to make an image larger than 5ft and I decided to make it 6ft" x 9ft". The materials used were Fiber Castell, willow charcoal, ink, dry pastel on newspaper, 2020.
The concept was what it would look if to visualize the life at its end through dementia, a subject very close to me.

Aftermath
The final drawing related to the series "No Longer With Us" this piece was done on a wooden board measuring 10"x14" made with Ink & marker in 2021. This piece is more so the interpretation of where the souls of those no longer with us may be scene travelling onto what could be a possible afterlife or of some sort of passageway to the next journey awaiting the living. My standing is an uncertain one when it comes to the afterlife, as their are many ideas discussed and I myself am on a journey to come up with what I perceive to be the final end.
Pilings of One's Self
"No Longer With Us"
The final ensemble related to the series "No Longer With Us" this piece holds all of the pieces together with a false shaping of myself supporting "Aftermath" on my lap and the series of drawings and carvings atop of the head region against a wall. The light supporting the piece is to symbolize a sort of calmness with this all happening. This set-up also pays homage to the drawing "Immanuel" done prior to this series as the body is purposely the same design and concept. My standing is an uncertain one when it comes to the afterlife, as their are many ideas discussed and I myself am on a journey to come up with what I perceive to be the final end. Although that may be true this piece truly aligns closer to how I envision the ideas of passing and that there will be safe travels through a proper life respectable to those that lived to create such a long lineage.

Concept art for a large scale painting I will make in the time permitted during 2022, sad to see it be on hold for so many months.
